Lissa was born and raised in Naperville. After attending North Central College where she earned a degree in Psychology, she moved to Chicago seeking to expand her experiences. She worked in social services doing counseling but found this wasn't the right fit for her. She then worked as a meeting planner which utilized her detail-oriented skills and offered her a chance to travel. Although she was succeeding in this line of work, she knew it wasn't her life's passion.

After some soul-searching, Lissa found her way to the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and her whole life changed! Attending massage school gave her a new way to approach herself, her life, her relationships, and her career.

Lissa has been doing massage therapy for 13 years now and loves going to work everyday! She finds it very fulfilling and satisfying. The recipricol nature of massage therapy appeals to Lissa - the more she gives, the more she receives.

In 2001, Lissa moved back to Naperville where she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jay, when he's not busy with his pizza shop - Uncle Pete's Pizza. She also loves going out to eat or baking her own creations, seeing live music, and going into Chicago.
